The Art of Revenge is a riveting, action-packed, suspenseful and at times terrifying chase around the world that will have gritty thriller lovers salivating for more – a must read for those who like hanging on the edge of the cliff by only their fingers.
The Art of Revenge features two unlikely heroes. Anthony Provati is a jazz pianist, art gallery owner, and sailor, who has a mob boss uncle. Valentina Esposito was orphaned at birth but is rewriting her destiny by becoming a brilliant computer programmer. They undertake a global pursuit of murderous Russian and North Korean operatives to foil a terrorist plot funded by forgeries and the ransom of stolen paintings.

At times I found myself struggling to follow along. There were a lot of players in the game and there seemed to be a few side stories intertwined with the main story. Additionally, our “bad guys” kept changing the game on me which left me trying to figure out what exactly was going to happen while still leaving me guessing.
Honestly, I enjoyed the read. It has been awhile since I read the first Anthony Provati story, but bits and pieces were being recalled as I continued to read. (And if you haven’t read the first one, don’t sweat it – you can read this one and won’t be lost!)
It was most certainly a mystery and a thriller trying to keep up with what was happening, how it was happening, what the end goal was and how the entire game ended.
The storyline kept me turning pages.
If you enjoy mystery thrillers, I recommend Art of Revenge. It was a great read that held a little more than just the thrilling mystery unfolding!
