I thought this book was absolutely adorable and a great gift for a child and mother who are on the journey of cancer together.
The illustrations in the book are amazing. It is an easy read for children. I found it to be comforting in both the illustrations, words, and the phrases.
There are activities throughout the book, along with links to find more or get printables.
It is a customizable book with places to write things in and add pictures.
As a parent, I felt it is a book that will bring comfort to a child, but also serve as a memory keeper for a child. It reminds the child that mommy is sick, but that doesn’t mean she doesn’t love the child and that while she may not like the smell of her favorite food or able to do activities; it doesn’t mean she doesn’t love the child.
It really is a cute book perfect for a mom and child who are on the journey of cancer together. Highly recommend.
