Introducing The Bedtime Chronicles – a hip-hop inspired children’s book series that follows the everyday beat of the Rimes family.
The Bedtime Chronicles is a new children’s book series that brings a unique and innovative spin to the traditional rhyme book genre.
Inspired by the creative wordplay and style of hip-hop music, the series centers on the Rimes family: parents – Stan and Pam, their kids – Benny and Mary Lou, and Benny’s stuffed animal bunny, Hip-Hop.
Each tale takes place at night as Benny requests a bedtime story – and in every book, a different family member takes him on a hilarious, rhyme-filled adventure meant to capture the imagination. What’s more, The Bedtime Chronicles isn’t just for kids. With clever illustrations and pop culture references sprinkled throughout each book, it also appeals to those often-overlooked individuals responsible for the buying and reading of said books… the parents!
Imaginative, funny, cool, and musical – The Bedtimes Chronicles is truly fun for the whole family.
Legend of the Dadman is the first book to be released in The Bedtime Chronicles series.

I am absolutely in love with Legend of the Dadman. This has to be the most creative, cutest, most fun book ever!
The Rimes Family prepares you to “rhyme, read or rap” at bedtime. (And comes with a legit music label warning like you see on CDs!) I love how creative it is!
The book is a quick, easy read for bedtime that I am sure your kids will love. If your kids are a little older and can read or are learning to read; this would be a great read together book! The words are not pretty easy and the rhyming will definitely help with sight words and learning sounds!
I read this to my 8 year old at bedtime and she got quite the kick out of it! She will be entering third grade and could read this book on her own if she wanted.
The illustrations are bright and colorful – sure to keep anyone and everyone’s attention, while we rhyme about Dadman.
Honestly, I cannot wait to read more rhymes for the rest of the family and absolutely recommend families get this book!! It makes for such a fun bedtime story for the kids (and the adults too!)
