We are reviewing another children’s book; Journey to A New Earth. I couldn’t pass it up when it was a children’s book and had a panda (my son’s favorite animal)! That is a total win win in my house! Continue reading to see what we thought of the book!

Leels Loves Books Book Reviews

First and foremost, this book is absolutely one of the cutest books I have ever seen. The pictures are bright, colorful, and so adorable! It makes such a fun book to look at regardless of age.

The story itself… I have to admit, I got the connection part, but I am slightly lost on the “journey” and felt the book abruptly ended. I am sure that a younger child would not notice such a thing, but being an adult; I feel… inadequate for being my age and being left befuddled by a children’s book.

This is certainly a book that I feel my youngest (2nd grade) will read more than once. I did not feel any of the words were too difficult for her. The writing was large and easy to read, and I felt the book wasn’t too long for her to read alone if she wanted. Of course, it would be fun to read together as well!

I have decided they are my emotional support animal! 🤣

Tonight, they ate right off my finger! I didn't think I could fall in more in love!! 🥰

...except it wasn't for me. It was for Gibbs, our husky... who's birthday is 3 days before mine.

Guess that's what happens when you share your birthday week with the dog. 🤷‍♀️

This baby is a little spazzy at first but then loves to just chill and sit with me. They aren't quite as jumpy as Aspen (and def friendlier! Aspen still HATES being touched!)

Also, I'm not sure they were well cared for. Breeder said hatch date was 9-8-2022, but they are tiny! Not even the length of my pointer finger!

Anyway, welcome, Leif (pronounced Leaf; thank you, Kadenn...) to the zoo!
