I am all about the vampire and werewolf thing. I will admit that The Flash of a Firefly started a little slow, but it picked up pace and when it ended – I was not a happy camper. So be forewarned – this is a series and this is book one.
The Flash of the Firefly is a ‘normal’ vampire story with a few werewolves mixed in (though they aren’t the main focus and surprisingly, vampires kind of ‘own’ werewolf packs.) It does, of course, have a romantic aspect to it, but overall, I think that it is more edge of your seat, what is going to happen next story line.
I know most males aren’t into the whole vampire thing, but if they are, this is a good read. I didn’t think it was ‘girly’ or a female read and can definitely see a male reader enjoying the story line. All I know, is that I need to get my hands on book two to see how the story continues!
